newborn - April 2026
This one comes with an anecdote:
"on 11/04/2026, i was gifted with the rare blessing of witnessing newborn earwigs. i was traveling so i didn't have my drawing tablet. i drew this on my 3DS with the app Colors!3D. i had to paint my feelings asap. it wouldn't leave my head."
Here's a photo from the encounter. Mama earwig was nearby... did you know that earwigs are attentive and doting parents? The rock they were found under was gently returned shortly after this photo was taken.
The encounter was probably the closest thing I've had to a religious experience as a very non-religious person.

Another 3DS artwork, this instead created using the Camera app's 'graffiti' mode, which lets you draw and add stickers to photos you've taken. If you've never used it, it sucks for making art. I like it a lot.
This piece, as well as the tree sees your blind heart, were created from photos I took on a day where I reunited with friends who'd been away at university (whereas I stayed home). One of those friends is Bros112.
